The William Dahlgren Award recognizes outstanding K-12 teachers for inspiring students in math, science and engineering fields, particularly classes directed towards learning the field of plastics and general entrepreneurship activities/efforts.
This program provides funds the attendance of a high school level Educator to the SAMPE Spring Conference and Exhibition. The Scholarship includes conference registration and lodging. Supplemental funds may cover a portion of travel, food or other expenses.
MIT Women's Initiative Program (WIP)
The MIT WIP offers the opportunity for a team of two female MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) students to visit a selected school district over the course of a week in January, to make presentations to a female middle school and high school students about education & careers in science, math & engineering.
Teach the Teachers Workshop
This new workshop trains K-12 educators on the fundamentals of composites and how to teach composites in the classroom. The workshop is free for teachers and is a great resource for local teachers. The workshop takes place during CAMX each year.
